Marvin Boris, M.D. and Michael Elice, M.D, are Defeat Autism Now! Practitioners. They are dedicated to the biomedical research and treatment of patients with autistic spectrum disorders.

Our physicians have treated Autistic Spectrum Disorders for the past 10 years. The treatment is based on the theory that autism is actually a complex neurodevelopmental disorder with genetic, biochemical and immunological origins, thus making autism one of the autoimmune disorders whose incidence has been increasing rapidly over the past 30 years. Our office is advancing in the treatments that may help patients on the autistic spectrum utilizing individualized treatment protocols.

Initial consultation with the doctor at the office is 60 – 90 minutes with a 90 minute follow-up consultation to review laboratory results, implement treatment and provide nutritional consultation with a nurse practitioner. Follow-up examinations are 30 minutes or longer as needed. Autism Associates of New York does not participate in any insurance plans. Laboratory work and allergy testing is often covered by insurance but may vary from patient to patient.
